The VK-1 by Vktr Industries is a CA (California Compliant) AR-style rifle with a 16″ barrel chambered for the 5.56mm NATO cartridge. The rifle uses a patented low-profile piston system design featuring optimum gas port sizing and an advanced piston assembly. A staged gas bleed system allows the rifle to operate consistently, either suppressed or unsuppressed, with varying types of factory ammo. The Short Stroke Piston System includes a fully-supported one-piece OP rod and removable gas block which matches the footprint and weight of a standard DI AR-15 while providing the benefits of a piston driven system. Other features include threaded barrel, A2 flash hider, M-LOK handguard, extended Picatinny rail, Magpul K2 grip, Magpul SL adjustable synthetic stock and Hiperfire single-stage trigger. The all-black VK-1 comes with one 10-round CA Compliant Compmag, rifle lock and hard case.
