The pattern accommodates wide shoulders with a slight taper through the torso to fit under a harness or backpack without excess fabric; a deep, waterproof, two-way center-front zipper allows venting and includes a zipper garage for next-to-chin comfort. A secure, waterproof chest pocket with a zipper garage stores essentials, and the roomy pocket bag enables easy self-stuffing with a clip-in carabiner loop for on-route access. Elasticized cuffs seal out the weather when reaching overhead, and a low-profile adjustable hem helps retain warmth.
